Baked Ginger Pear with Brown Sugar & Nut Glaze


1 ripe pear, sliced
2-3 whole cloves
1 t. cinnamon
1 T. ground ginger

Glaze:
1 T. natural brown sugar
1 t. smart balance vegan butter
2-3 walnuts, broken up
1 dash cinnamon

Bake at 350 5-7 minutes or until pear slices are tender, crisp and brown on the outside. Melt brown sugar and Smart Balance with nuts and cinnamon and drizzle onto pear.

Serves: 1-2
